United Nations Global Compact

The United Nations Global Compact seeks for companies to implement concrete actions in Sustainability. We are part of the Global Compact, which means that we commit to its 10 principles. In addition, we comply with the UN 2030 agenda and its Sustainability Goals (SDGs).

Our Commitment: Together with the Global Compact, we are committed to integrate the concept of sustainability into our corporate strategy through the implementation of 10 principles. We report our progress annually via COP (Communication on Progress).

Acción Empresas

Accion Empresas is an organization that brings together more than 130 companies determined to manage their businesses in a sustainable manner, following a logic of competitiveness and sustainability. It seeks to build a more inclusive and egalitarian society. In Chile, they represent the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).

Commitments: We adhere to the principles encouraged by Accion Empresas, accepting a commitment made to: People and Work, Sustainable Territories, Responsible Sourcing, Climate Change, Circular Economy, and Ethics and Governance.

ASIQUIM

The Chilean Chemistry Industry Trade Association got 120 companies belonging to the industrial chemical sector together. In Chile, ASIQUIM implements Responsible Care, a global initiative to encourage the sustainable development of the chemical industry. In Antofagasta, we are also part of the Board of Directors of the Northern Zone Commission of ASIQUIM.

Our Commitments: We adhere to the principles encouraged by Accion Empresas, accepting commitments and responsibilities that support sustainable development of the chemical industry, and work in the development of health, safety and environmental standards. We have the Responsible Care initiative in the Nueva Victoria site and soon will be implemented in the Tocopilla Port.

International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA)

The International Fertilizer Association (IFA) represents between 75-80% of the global fertilizer production, including manufacturers, sales and distribution.

Commitments: We adhere to the general principles encouraged by IFA to boost efficiency and responsibility in the manufacturing process, distribution and use of fertilizers around the World.
